“The Moon – Earth’s Natural Satellite”

“The Moon – Earth’s Natural Satellite”

*  The Moon is Earth’s only natural satellite and it orbits our planet every month.

* It shines at night because it reflects light from the Sun.

* The Moon has different phases such as full moon, half moon, and new moon.

* Its surface is covered with craters, mountains, and dusty soil.

* The Moon’s gravity causes ocean tides on Earth.

* Humans first landed on the Moon during the Apollo 11 mission in 1969.

* The Moon has no air or water, so living things cannot survive there.

* It takes about 27 days for the Moon to travel around Earth once.

*  The Moon looks different sizes in the sky depending on its position and phase.

* The Moon is one of the brightest and most beautiful objects we can see in the night sky.
